Gokhan Beyaz participated in flight operations in many parts of the world, gave pieces of training on aviation safety procedures for many years, and continued his career in airlines for more than twenty years, of which he was a cabin manager for nearly ten years and a manager for more than thirteen years in total since 1999. He contributed to the preparation of international manuals. Also, he took part in the operations management and representation team of Turkish Airlines, Anadolu Jet, and SunExpress wet-lease project from the starting date. In addition, in order to develop in-flight service and communication techniques, he has applied innovative, interactive, and sustainable workshop programs that were unique in airlines in Turkey and abroad, aiming to learn while having fun. These workshops are still being offered by trainers whom he has mentored before.
One of the projects he created to improve in-flight sales was featured in the international and national press. After the project came to life, it provided high percentages of profitability in in-flight sales, and a positive difference in passenger and crew satisfaction.
Since 2017, he has worked as the human resources manager responsible for the training and development processes of the company employees in both Germany and Turkey. During this period, he was responsible for the planning and development strategies of more than four thousand employees, both at home and abroad. He took an active role in the integration of the performance management system. Throughout his career, Gokhan Beyaz, who regularly served as a manager in recruitment and promotion interviews supported the success of cabin crew members by personally providing feedback and consultancy services to each successful and unsuccessful candidate after the promotion interviews.
In all these interview processes he participated in, he witnessed many times that the candidates performed well below their current competencies and failed due to their erroneous expressions, which caused him to think in more detail and develop a solution-oriented perspective. In fact, if the interview environment and questions had been studied beforehand, and the individual had been made aware of their shortcomings and weaknesses, many candidates could have been successful and had a career opportunity in the airlines. In the light of this thought, he founded Avicoaching UK in London.
Gokhan Beyaz, together with Avicoaching.com, carried out the most effective and result-oriented training programs in order to raise awareness that can enable all candidates who want to pursue a career in airlines to be successful in both their recruitment and promotion processes. He also works on these programs with professionals who have many years of work experience and interview experiences in many different countries, with specially created presentations for the airlines of those countries.
